Nina Kristine comes from Bodø, her heart is in the north although she lives in the south of Norway today. She loves skiing, mountain walks, winter swimming, windsurfing and most things that involve being outside in nature. Nina Kristine is a co-founder and owner of NAC and is responsible for communication, sustainability, and social responsibility. She has extensive experience from the Norwegian business sector and has previously worked as communications director at Astrup Fearnley and Bulk Infrastructure. Additionally, she was employed by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy with a focus on exploration policy and the northern regions.

Fredrik is from Oslo but has a deep affinity for the north. He has been involved in adventure tourism and explorer cruises since 2002. He’s a passionate skier, climber and windsurfer who fell in love with Arctic & Coastal Norway and what the region has to offer in terms of natural experiences and culture. Fredrik is a co-founder and owner of the company and based at our Oslo office. He is responsible for business and product development as well as international sales.

Marina Elvaker is from Bleik, a small village on Andøya in Vesterålen. She studied communication in Oslo and brings a background shaped by the wild landscapes of Northern Norway and international inspiration from several years in Italy. Growing up with the mountains as her closest neighbor gave her a deep appreciation for experiences that challenge, engage, and awaken the senses.

While she enjoys the pace of city life, she draws her energy from the north -hiking in the mountains, skiing, cycling, or taking a refreshing dip in the sea. Marina has a sharp eye for detail and a passion for creating experiences that inspire and leave a lasting impression.

At NAC, she combines strategic and operational communication with project management, crafting memorable experiences and corporate journeys.

Marie is a dedicated project manager with roots from both Coastal and Arctic Norway. Born in Finnmark and raised in Bergen, Marie has always had a deep love for the sea, mountains, and great culinary experiences.

She studied hotel management in Oslo and has been working in the tourism industry since 2011, focusing on creating unforgettable guest experiences. After completing her studies, Marie played a key role in the opening of Sommerro, where she was responsible for event planning. She worked here for two years before joining NAC.

Marie brings experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver the very best in guest experiences. She has developed an interest in the small but important details that make an experience unique. Her goal is to always exceed expectations and ensure that each guest has a memorable experience, with a personal touch that reflects her dedication and passion.

Øyvind was born and raised in Hemsedal but has lived in Oslo for 18 years. With a cabin in his hometown, he is always close to the mountains, ready to enjoy the fresh mountain air, both summer and winter. Øyvind is a passionate skier and golfer, always in search of new experiences, both in nature and beyond. He has a background in commercial roles within the travel and media industries. At NAC, Øyvind contributes as a Controller.

Norwegian Adventure Guides (NAG) is a professional guide company established by IFMGA certified Gorm Gunleiksrud and Norwegian Adventure Company. We are certified mountain guides who are experts in guiding, in education and in safety on snow, mountains and ice. Our team includes specialist certified mountain bike guides and nature guides from the University of Tromsø. We are based in Arctic & Coastal Norway, with a main focus and local competence in the areas of Lofoten, Lyngen, Senja, Svalbard, Kvaløya, Finnmark, Andørja, Steigen, Bodø and Tromsø - but can offer guiding all over Norway.

Norwegian Adventure Guides

Emma was born and raised in Hof, a small town in Vestfold, and has always had a passion for nature and the outdoors. She thrives when she gets to stay active and sporty – whether it’s hiking in the mountains, at the gym, or connecting with new people.

In 2021, Emma moved to Bergen to study marketing and brand management, and today she holds a bachelor’s degree in the field. She now lives in Oslo, where she is completing a master’s degree in innovation management.

At Norwegian Adventure Company, Emma puts her skills into practice to help create outstanding experiences. She works as a producer at NAC, handling a variety of tasks related to experience design, content production, and project coordination.

Sander Solbrekke was born and raised in Asker. During high school, he moved to Meråker to pursue cross-country skiing at an elite level, an experience that shaped his strong discipline, determination, and ability to work systematically toward clear goals. Alongside his role at Norwegian Adventure Company, he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance at BI Norwegian Business School.

At NAC, Sander works with the planning and execution of events, with a strong focus on structure, quality, and the small details that contribute to creating seamless and memorable experiences for guests.

Sander feels most at home outdoors and has a deep passion for an active lifestyle. He finds much of his energy in the outdoors, spending time in nature year-round -ski touring in the mountains during winter and camping in the highlands during summer.

Tuva Sterri Brekke is from Voss on Norway’s west coast, where she grew up with mountains and skiing as a natural part of everyday life. She has a bachelor’s degree in sports science and physical education and has a strong passion for creating meaningful experiences through activity.

Driven by a genuine enthusiasm for people, Tuva is dedicated to facilitating experiences that foster energy, a sense of achievement, and presence -whether outdoors in nature or through meaningful interactions between people. She has an eye for detail and a deep understanding of the subtle elements that make an experience seamless, engaging, and truly memorable.
